Who is “La Mezquita de Toledo”?

La Mezquita de Toledo is an online shop that offers a wide selection of sweets made by hand by master craftsmen with natural ingredients from the Mediterranean and selected top quality raw materials.

We are in the city of Toledo where our factory is located and we make our artisan sweets with nuts such as almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, pistachios, cashews, pine nuts along with spices and aromas such as cinnamon, orange blossom water, lemon, orange…

What are our products?

The use of almonds as the main ingredient in Spanish pastries is a great example of the Arab influence of the Andalusian era that has remained until today.

Specifically, the sweets of the Ciudad de Toledo are popular for the use of almonds as the basis for their preparation, a tradition closely linked to Arab confectionery for centuries.

Currently, it can be said that Arab confectionery is considered one of the best in the world due to the softness and energy provided by the mixture of almonds and honey as the main ingredient in many of its sweets.

For this reason, our products are made with a refined paste of almonds and honey, along with other nuts and aromas that evoke the oldest and most traditional flavors of Arab culture.
