La Mezquita de Toledo is a new brand of sweets made by hand by master craftsmen with selected natural ingredients of First Quality, with paste of the best and most refined almonds and other nuts.

This new brand, from now on the market under the name “La Mezquita de Toledo”, is a new project created by Mazapanes Barroso in order to offer to all almond sweets lovers other type of sweets with more nuts and other different aromas. La Mezquita de Toledo offers a wide range of products with the purpose of satisfy the new demands in trend within the world of sweets.

Almond paste sweets with a wide variety of nuts – pistachios, pine nuts, walnuts, cashews, hazelnuts -, and aromas – orange blossom water, cinnamon, lemon or orange – to delight the most exquisite and demanding palates of lovers of these characteristic desserts.

First of all, we must remember that Mazapanes Barroso is a factory specialized in the production of Marzipan products, handcrafted nougat and other typical sweets since 1890.

In addition, it should also be noted that they have been awarded with a star for the best flavor by the International Taste Institute in Brussels without forgetting the award for “Best Marzipan Manufacturer” in the 4th Edition of the Gastro & Cía Award.

Finally, it should be mentioned that La Mezquita de Toledo has been presented at the 35th Edition of the Salón Gourmets de Madrid which was held from April 25 to 28 at IFEMA this year.
